You might think having a bike is cheap because " i can save petrol etc " but realistically once you pay off your motorcycle gear, rego, insurance etc its almost the same as a car. To be honest your better off driving your lil EG till you have enough money to buy a bike. I believe what jbird said is right, 2.5k isnt gonna get you anywhere, you have to think about your other needs besides just a bike such as gear, fuel, rego, ctp, insurance and all that other stuff. Anyone with basic mechanical knowledge and a couple of spanners can do pretty much anything needs doing with their eyes closed. Just giving you the harsh truth because I dont think you know what is going onĭude, 2-strokes are like 11ty-billion times easier to work on than a 4-stroke. That is of course unless you have the coin to pay someone.

If youre a complete noob and dont know anything I'd recommend you stop looking looking at NSR's or Aprilia RS's, basically anything 2 stroke because you wouldnt have the slightest clue on how to fix it. Wait till you have more money before making a dumb financial decision esp when that financial decision involves buying a 125cc 9hp bike or whatever the hell it is.

How are you even going to buy a helmet or jacket or gloves. If you are borrowing money to buy a 2.5k bike then maybe a motorbike is not your thing. If you are going to spend $5k on a Ninja 250R/GPX250 with a body kit then you need your head checked. Thanks for all the help guys, appreciate it!Īnyone wanna drive me to queensland on thursday?! LOL I really can't afford to be spending more than 2.5, i know, it's not much, but, i'm hoping it'll get me something. I'm already borrowing the money as is which is the thing :(
